I hit the soft cushion,
that only immediately to be followed by a sharp pain in my leg.
I protect my face with my arms and there is the sound of a snap,
the pain in my back unbearable.
I couldn't breath, for the pain had a tight grip of my body.
Snap.
Another sharp pain in my left arm that is protecting my face.
I peak, only to see the one who gave birth to me.
Snap.
My leg again.
Then, the world goes blurry, it was as if being pulled under water.
I blink,
and the world is clear again.
There's a few more snaps.
Now my stomach is burning.
The sound of stomping fills my ears, and then the slamming of a door.
Those sounds were the sign of the end of my punishment.

I wanted everyone to feel what it was like for me to be beat by a belt by my mother.

wow, I can not, even imagine what you been going through. Being abuse, like this is so not cool. you definetly need help. this is a nice peom, buetifully writen. It makes me understand the pain your going through. I have a some suggestions for you and I hope this helps.
1. call the police WHEN you are bleeding, or think you going to die.
2. try hidding the bealt.
3. hide at your best friends house and try living with her for as long as you can.
4. if number three back fires and you mom beats you then call the police and have her arrested or, ask the =police to put you in sepical costudy.
5. DONT FIGHT back. It will only make it worse and se might killyou,
