The dream as it was, contained impending doom.
He couldn't see what was to happen
As for me, I screamed.
An observer to what was to unfold.
I tried to tell him, with no avail-
He couldn't hear me
A moment separated from my sub-conscience
To see what was to be
He was thrown from his vehicle
Young and full of life
In an instant it would change
The music repeated into oblivion
"Turn around...
A total eclipse of the heart."
I ran to him and tried to wake him
But, nothing
A young man's shell
The audible longing played again, only louder I suppose.
I was awakened and saw my father's face
"I need to talk to you" he said.
My thirteen years stared back
"He's dead...I know" was my reply.
My father was shocked "How do you know?"
I saw it, I was there
He was gone.

This is so very touching. Lots of emotion contained within such few words. I'm sorry for your loss though. :/
