Soldiers: throw away your guns;
Throw them for the sea to devour.
We don’t need your guns any longer,
We don’t need you either,
For we have big bastard bombs
And we have big bastard missiles
Which we drop from big bastard planes;
It’s get the job done quicker,
It saves us from paying for paper,
And saves us the time we’d spend
Sending it to your mother.
Frankly, we just can’t afford it.
And we can’t afford you either;
We can’t afford to feed you, clothe you,
Bury you.
Actually; scratch that. Give us our guns
Back. We’ll sell them to a Mugabe or a Hussein.
No, we are certainly not insane,
We’re protecting our interests.
You have to be harsh sometimes;
Ask any mobster, if you don’t believe us.
Now, you’ve had your three minutes;
Get back in line.

Good
I was having trouble sleeping, current events, the poor interpretation thereof and talk radio are really crawling up my spine. No matter your views, it pisses me off too to see military personnel treated like criminals. It made me feel better to read this; the ending was so rightfully tart. Reminded me of a quote:
"In the military we defend democracy; we don't practice it."
Powerful emotion, good work.
