Buddy's Trip To Hell

Smiling all the time with such a way with life,
turned sixteen and chose his path in a blink of his eyes.
Saw others about him having such fun never seeing their crutch,
so he made himself like them he thought would be enough.

Jerry was his life long friend and he told Buddy lets not go,
only Buddy told his friend just leave me alone so cold.
He left Jerry behind with tears in his eyes for Jerry saw their lies,
to be one of the crowd and Buddy was walking blind through time.

Months passed and Jerry never gave up on his friend ,
He was always there should Buddy his heart so needed to mend.
He cried for Buddy when he saw him slowly wasting way,
leaving his joy behind unwilling to see the dangers he would face.

Time passed and Jerry watched from afar,
he saw his friend dieing slowly he knew it from the start.
But Jerry was still Jerry and full of life  this Buddy could see,
and one day he told Jerry I am so glad you are still my friend indeed.

Friends you never leave them no matter what,
You dont follow them down the wrong path not.
Be there for them and help show them the way back home,
is the key to a true friendship one that forever grows.

Buddy took an overdose and was lying on the street,
Jerry wasn't far so he picked him up and rushed him to emergency.
They saved Buddy"s life and when he came to,
Jerry replied where are your so called friends why didnt they save you.

Silence fell upon the room as Jerry had tears streaming down his face,
he replied Buddy wont you come back home together we will find a way.
To bring back the friend who became lost and alone,
I have and always will be your true friend please come back home.
