Forgotten Sparrow

The cries so faint I cannot hear
  my own pathetic tries,
as but the scent of family lingers still
  and burns my waking eyes.

         So hungry,
            so thirsty,
               so all alone,
with no one near to see.

The mountains set behind the sun,
                                  for mommy has flown away...

Tell me what you think

  • Hmmm

This is interesting, I like that it's not the typical view. Not many people write from that point of view, and it worked well. I sense that this poem has more personal meaning than what is being seen first off. Very good, sweetheart. I love you.
