Bird

In the blackness of the night,
A person can get their vengeance,
Upon the wings of a Crow.
Upon those wings lie love, hate, and torment.
Upon those wings lie anger, of once blissful times,
And upon those wings, there lies a truth of life.
Upon those wings, lies past murder of the innocent.
If you come upon the night of revenge, look away.
If you stay, you’ll wish you had strayed.

Forever within the lights of dark,
The Crow seeks souls to awaken.
Revenge in its soul only draws it closer,
To the once innocent being that would soon be flying with the Bird. 
The love that had been felt, forever lasting love, was torn into shreds,
The love was there, but was taken away.

Bird flies and reaches the grave,
And when the dead awaken,
Revenge will be in its place.
The broken hearted and dead,
The ones who didn’t get a chance to raise a family.
They all get their revenge,
The revenge of innocence, the revenge of the Bird.

When the wings spread,
And after all are dead,
It flies away for a time.
Upon the night of innocent murder
It will return once again,
And the sequences repeats, because the Bird is them.
Lying in its chest, beats the heart of all murdered innocence.

I hope you find this rather enjoyable. It is my best shot at your contest and I am a huge fan of the movies--all the ones I've seen, anyway.

    I really loved the wing reference and the use of words 'innocent' and 'revenge' I really enjoyed this, it was well put together. That much is obvious though, lol, you got a silver trophy for it.
