I love you so very much,
more than I ever thought possible.
You say you love me very much,
and I believe you when you do.
It's a thrilling, compelling,
incredibly amazing feeling.
Sometimes I almost feel invincible,
your love like a full body shield.
I never want this to end.
For the first time,
I actually feel...safe.
This love is a new exciting,
yet almost frightening experience.
You hold this power over me,
my heart is in your hands.
I fear that at any given moment,
you could have a change of heart,
and crush my fragile heart to pieces.
I'm trusting you to not,
but it's still a real possibility.
We love each other so very much,
I just hope that feeling never passes.

such an honest and powerful account of your love yet the vulnerability you express would relate to anyone who has experienced love, it is such a mixture of new and sometimes scary emotions.
The onlyslight criticism I would offer is that the line: ''m trusting you to not' would sound better 'I'm trusting you not to' as it goes with the more natural flow of speech in the rest of the poem.

There is always the possibility of having your heart broken in love. But you can only experience the incredible connection with another by taking that risk! Very well written. It sounds that you two have a very special relationship!
