You see her smile,
Yet you have no idea what she’s hiding,
You see her cry,
Yet you have no clue,
About what mysteries,
Lurk behind her blue eyes,
You hear her laugh,
Don’t you wish you had the right…
To be closer to her now?
But she holds you at bay.
Scared you might just be…
Her own kind of kryptonite,
You see her slip, see her fall,
Yet she doesn’t let you,
See her cry on the floor,
You see her fight…
For things she should have,
Yet you still don’t help her,
You’re hiding behind fancy words,
But she’s stronger than that,
She’s not going to come back,
You see her walk away,
You don’t see the confusion,
Or the indecision,
She’s stronger than that.
