Before, we were just ready to fall.
But with so much reassurance and consolation
        we were salvaged.



I'll destroy everything before it can even get near us,
then i'll let my thoughtfulness overtake me
        and let it slowly fill my lungs.



And even though nothing ever seems to work out,
we still find ourselves
        hoping for the best.
