The lone wolf cries alone tonight
For all that’s wrong and all that’s right
Running fast under moon alight
The lone wolf cries alone tonight
Born in a cave
Stranger to the storm
Ruing that same day
When waking each new morn’
The lone wolf cries alone tonight
For all that’s wrong and all that’s right
Running so fast under moon alight
The lone wolf cries alone tonight
Not two weeks old this young one
And he alone and chosen
Escaped the fire of hate
Man had orphaned this new son
The lone wolf cries tonight
For all that’s wrong and all that’s right
Running faster under moon alight
The lone wolf cries tonight
So each new day begins afresh
As lone wolf seeks out new flesh
Ending life to save another
One day nearer to his mother
The lone wolf cries alone tonight
For all that’s wrong and all that’s right
Running fast under moon so bright
The lone wolf cries alone tonight
One new day the wind is changed
The game is gone, land rearranged
Back to see his grim work done
A man came and fired his gun
The lone wolf cried alone tonight
For all that’s and all that’s right
Breathing fast under moon alight
The lone wolf dies alone tonight
The lone wolf cries alone tonight
For all that’s wrong and all that’s right
Running fast under moon alight
The lone wolf cries alone tonight.
