The day I got married
put a smile upon my face
he truly did look handsome
my heart he did make race
Dale he was so nervous
I, too, antsy like hell
"Holy cow, we're going to do this!
I hope it all goes well!"
he said our vows with blunders
we laughed about them so
from that moment on
our love had room to grow
so off to wedded bliss we ran
to start our happy life
he, now my husband
I, his loving wife
we stay up late and talk
and do a lot together
even times when nothing to do
we may just watch the weather
I like it when he sings to me
sings our song real low
it makes my heart just melt
to know he loves me so
even with my flaws
he still accepts me
I often sit and wonder why
for I'm no prize, you see
I'm thankful everyday
for my husband who's so sweet
I'd lay down my life for him
for his love just can't be beat

Sweet
This really speaks well of your marriage and love for one another. I too sing to my wife, and she's nice enough to tell me it's good. I've been doing this for 32 years this August, and I never tire of it. Keep writing!
