I’m 50 now plus a few,
ask me what I want to do,
ride a bike, fly a plane,
do some things I’ve done, again!
grow old disgracefully, that’s my plan
go on holidays, get a tan
just be me, no one else
all I need is a steady pulse!

Yo go as a person of your gen I too intend to throw away me Zimmer frame(yep a little older) and join the human race or was that life oh well ...maybe its a marathon ..yeah enjoy life whilst we have some ta have ...so much ta see so much ta do ..good one poet

I really liked this one,
I'm 52, so I can relate, bones getting creaky, and starting to seriously ponder the end of life. If we're lucky though, we'll live to be a hundred, cheers!
