and to find one is a gift no fool will take for granted.
Wishing for waterfalls to fill the void in my heart
of love that could overthrow empires.
Wishing for someone that can make love out of mere words.
Like how a potter easily creates a masterpiece out of mud.
It's a mystery I will never try to figure out
For a riddle is beauty if it does not get solved.
Bestow me love like a knight's honor, not a tool, not an excuse, not a need.
I bow on simply to what is deserved and what is right.
To look up to you and kneel down before you, like sunrise.
Laying my arms for you to lift me up to witness the world.
And once I touched and grasped upon in my weary hands
the only power that does not corrupt.
Only a humble missing piece
that yearns to be combined together in my heart
resonating a force of purpose so powerful like hellfire,
an impact that smashes and obliterates
every opposing unsurmountable circumstance
leaving the bearers delicately untouched, unharmed.
Organ of my desire wherever it may be
will always be fueled
each time it's humble windows
set eyes upon your face.
And when time comes when your love is like a riot
in my heart come ruin, come rapture and nothing seems to be done,
believe me when I say I will still be one.
I will love! I will love you or I will end my days.
For I can not imagine any human that can live through life
without laying, risking his whole heart
for the chance to feel reborn again.
And when time comes I am to wither like any mortal,
believe me when I say I will still be one,
and when I seem to be forgotten and lost,
it is not so dear, for my heart and presence
is forever immortalized by the essence of love.
Author notes
I checked the site, but found no quote that could inspire me, but as I was reading through I notice that most of the quotes that kept my interest were shakespear's, and well you could say that not one single quote inspired me but a collection of quotes by shakespear. just makes me wonder how he really lived his life, and be able to grasp the concept of love and wrote it down during mid 1500's and those words still stand today and are much like guidelines of love itself.
i know i didn't follow some rules, and my form is gibberish like, dunno bout my diction, and its 37 lines if you're wondering,
and i prolly wont get much from this but its okay, atleast by just checking out this contest it made me write a piece that stranely seems that it will never be complete and feels like a part of me, a piece that i will probably forever re-edit but also refreshes the writer himself..
