Forlorn Fears

Time may be against me,
but I know I'll persevere,
my heart still beats,
and your hands carry all the hate in me.

You bear a burden,
not many could stand,
I'm heartless and cold,
withered and broken,
but you give me life,
a sun without a flower,
and a flower without a sun,
cease to be.

All I really need from you,
is to have your hands in mine,
make me believe that I,
truly am the world,
you always wanted to see.

I know that whats you do for me.

So kiss me,
tell me you love me,
And I'll die happy.

Please darling,
I'm waiting...

    Beautiful.

I loved this poem because I think you spoke from deep within your soul. Deeper, I think, than you usually go.

    your best lines were:

    "a sun without a flower,
and a flower without a sun,
    cease to be."

    Stunning.

  • Well done
