I wake up feeling the cold morning's chills
Trying to remember my past life's thrills
Stumble to the bathroom for my prescribed pills
The reasons behind these high medical bills
Each one goes down with a shot of water
But nothing could make my pain feel better
What can I do to finally forget her
And pretend like she doesn't matter
Can time heal a broken heart
Fix a life that's fallen apart
Should I try to find a new start
Or look for my answers at the liquor mart
Can't move pass the pain it's too depressing
Can't depress the feelings they're progressing
My progress is in vain I'm still stressing
And this stress game leaves me guessing
What is time, can it heal grief
Make long lived memories seem so brief
Hung up on a girl like a nail to a wreath
A girl who took my heart, my love, my life....
She's a thief

Beautiful ending

I like this a lot. I like the rhyming (I've never found that I can comfortably carry the same rhyme through a whole stanza, so I'm always impressed when someone can consistently rhyme all four lines in a stanza.)
I like the ending especially, a nice conclusion to the build-up of the poem.
