Pain buried beneath the incapability to cry
Forever lost behind blue eyes
The paradoxical question "why?"
Escapes my lips in parted sighs
Strangers see his marble face
His wistful eyes and shallow gait
Intimidated by his social grace
Their fears are fed by inner hate
Oh! how I wish they could understand
That I too hate what I am
I can't escape this hell at hand
The fact that I am resentfully damned
To a life of latent misery
That holds me back from commonality
My crowning words fall endlessly
And in this moment of finality
I take the breath that wasn't mine
Split the flesh that writes the rhyme
Blood as dark as finest wine
Shows my reflection burned in time
Hearing word of the statues passing
Acting as if nothings happened
Pushing past their empty laughing
Prayer tossed out like dirty napkins
Erasing memories of iron will
Never seeing beyond the hill
Spawned by countless forgotten graves...
