“Try again” every time you fail
that's what they say
but what if you don't want to?
What then, will the world fall apart?
I doubt it.
So why do you keep telling me
something I already know
something i've already learned
persevere, anything's possible
are you in reality, or fairy land?
Last time I checked things were in ruin
“But politicians say,”
haven't you been listening?
Don't believe anything
everyone's a liar, no one will help
they'll let you rot before they even acknowledge you
and if your ignorant enough to listen
well, bluntly, you've been lied to
by a snake in a suit
pretty faces and crafty words
in your ears and never out
drink it in, all this crap
the time will come
those of us who know
we'll be the ones laughing
just wait, it's coming

Ha, Like the bit at the end where you want to leave with superior, slightly revolutionary tone but aren't quite sure what to say, so just leave it ambiguous. I do that sometimes! I like some of your imagery "snake in a suit"('though slighly unoriginal) "in your ears and never out", but overall it's a bit too cliche', with horrible words like 'fairyland' which are always lame no matter how ironically used, and the tone of someone too emotionally immature trying to write material for Jeff Buckle or Radiohead. (Not implying any emotional immaturity, it's just really hard to write like Jeff Buckley. (If you don't know who he is, this probably sounds obscure. But he's awesome.)) Interesting Piece!
