Counting wondrous stars above
Like restless sheep in fields of blue
In hopes to wander to your love
As I drift off in thoughts of you
Multi-colored webs are spun
As moonlit smiles caress the sky
Our single minds meld into one
And soul to soul we take to flight
Waltzing on their threaded beams
We dip to drink the world below
The taste of us in every stream
Our journey has begun its flow
Painting all my wishes true
With gentleness and laughing eyes
While slowly swaying to His tune
Upon the currents that we ride
Tell me that I'm not asleep
Oh tell me that you're really mine
This dream of dreams I want to keep
Forever be my valentine

Touching
Beautiful, as always are your poems. I see you have a new muse....a poet just can't write without a muse. You're back in the saddle again and I wish you well. Your happiness is what I pray for. Stay well, dear poet friend. Oh!...one more thing....find a "real" publisher ( one that doesn't ask YOU for money ) and get published! Share your glorious talent with the world! ( I'd sure buy a book or two )
Not too many poets can write like this....they all write free verse crap and call it poetry. ( I'd better shut my mouth now ) heehee
