Neon Green

Green forever reminds me of you

But not because of your liking

It is the color of what we are

Neon Green so striking.

We are bright and shocking

And stun the passerby

They don't like us together

We know the thoughts that we defy!

But still we continue as what we are

Never to dull or fade

Looks like they've been shell shocked

Since I've got your heart like a hand grenade.

Some will choose to follow a rebel

The others will drift to the past

But forever we remain Neon Green

Meant forever to last.
