Rain is falling

Rain`s falling in my heart

And anger melts like ice

The mountains grey

Turns back to green and,

Love returns to reign

Oh, blessed breeze

Winds thou nymph,

Aurelia! lifes breath

Within my deep abashed seas

Chrisalis silken winged

Thou fillest my heart

Once more

With joyful butterflies.

The gentle rain and all its magic can turn the emotions to soft smiles once again...for when love blooms the heart is full like soft fluttering butterflies...your words flow so softly across your poetry canvas..thank you for sharing it with me...

a good piece of poetry which flows smoothly, it is always good when anger melts and love returns to the heart.

Nick, you write beautifully of a chastened heart and the return of spring...the melting of anger is such a poignant phrase...melted my own heart a bit today too...thanks for sharing this one .Peace always, Rhonda

    Exquisite, Longing for Spring

This is gorgeous, darling brother; however, there are two words I feel could be changed for a smoother, more elegant read and because you have used a bit of the Old English: fills/fillest and batterflies/butterflies. Nothing, however, could take away from the golden ink that has spilled from your golden quill: simply beautiful and makes me long for spring. I'm sick of snow.

    Much luv & hugs, SisBon
