The Last Teenage Photograph/Paper Heart Parade

Watch the pictures on the wall
Fade from color
Become the black and white portraits
Betraying the lies
Exposing the inside
Of a raw and bleeding broken heart.

Like the wave of breaking screams
My heart falls from heaven
And crashes into the rocks
Called a little bit of reality.

A broken heart counts to new beginnings
And with new beginnings comes
Newer challenges to begin.

What are we with this disease
Called the Teenage Heart break
Like a lost photograph
Of you smiling without a care in the world?
