I woke up on a dark morning
As I turned the engine over and the motor roared to life I realized something,
That i needed to find her.
I had to finally but the bullet and do what i said i would do so long ago,
So i drove myself to the jeweler and bought that ring,
I called the restaurant and booked the cute table with the little red candles.
Then it hit me, do i even stand a chance?
Is it really worth it?
What makes me better and different than the next guy.
The hour arrived, i got into my mustang and drove to her apartment
I knocked twice and she looked great, and I felt like a fool.
We drove to the restaurant and all those premonitions just seemed to fade away.
And then I woke up, swallowed that pill the they call pride and asked her out.

Aw this was really sweet, but there were a few errors in the poem. Thank you for entering and good luck.
