Forever I'd make a start
and be sweet destiny.
I'd be a lover & a friend
and stick by you through it all
I'll be there until the end
and catch your tears before they fall.
No longer afraid
to face the night
No longer feeling betrayed
when I'm holding you so tight.
Never would you have to worry
of the troubles that come your way
I'll always tell you my life story
and help you find the words to say.
So, take my hand when you need
let me be the shoulder when you cry
I want you to know you can proceed
and you can always come to me when you're asking why.
