He was 6 weeks old when he came into my life
No bigger than my two palms together
Fluffy like a cotton ball
Yorkshire Terrier was the sign above his cage
Forever Loved was the sign he stamped on my heart
He licked me and licked me
I took him home and he grew
He loved Sasha the cat
He thought he was a cat after a long while
He would use his paw to clean his face
He thought my lap was his own space
Taking walks he loved to do
He had to be with me every moment
I loved teaching him to fetch and get his cow
He would dig at it and tear at it
He played for hours with me
He made me smile
He made me laugh
I had to say goodbye this past month
To Bear my friend
To Bear my child
He is in heaven where all dogs go
He is chasing rainbows
And licking my son Adam's face

This is beautiful and sad. I hope you get gold. The pic of him is so pretty. Sorry for your loss of your puppy and son. This poem is touching.
Hugs, Michael
