You flashed briefly into my life. Dazzling.
Lightening the cloud heavy gravity
Of my existence, slowly westering
Towards the inevitability
Of cosy middle aged conformity.
Tantalising, you aroused the desire
I believed I had incinerated
In the all consuming funeral pyre
Of ashen fear. I obliterated
Living, loving. Commitment, shed in dread.
You came, flowing with femininity.
White dress, silky legs, bright eyes. Enchanting.
Unchaining the bonds of captivity.
I emerged from the ashpit, blasting
Greyness into oblivion everlasting.
You became the object of my desire
You teased me back to life, gave me the chance
To feel again the ecstasy, the fire
Of passionate, all consuming romance.
You showed me it was now a time to dance.
I grew; I flew, totally enchanted.
You invariably began to tire
But could not extinguish the flame started
In my heart, my loins. I tried to conspire,
To ensure that we were never parted.
I watch you now, quiet and cold, and admire
The stillness of my object of desire.
Please tell me what you think

I think this poem is just screaming to be free verse.
The ending rhyme is nice, but unneeded in a piece as sweet as this. I'm not very partial to rhyme and this is one of those writes that could fall nicely either way.
Oh to be loved like this,
Love,
