Never say goodbye,
You'd always say.
It means forever,
You'd tell me.

Well, I'm not saying goodbye Daddy.
As I will see you again.
I may not see you now,
Least not in the physical sense.

I may not be able to hold your hand,
As it's now ash.
I may not be able to stare into your eyes,
For you are not staring back.

I may not hear your voice,
Less I listen to the messages from the past.
I may not be able to hug you,
But my heart will always find you.

I'm not saying Goodbye, Daddy.
As I will be with you one day, again.

When our time comes to an end.

I know you hate to see me cry, Daddy.
But the tears aren't all just sad.
The memories I hold dear,
