A Soccer Mood

i'm in a soccer mood
tired of writing poetry
about boys
i want to go outside
and kick something
instead.

and tomorrow
when i wake up
it's off to the library.
i have too many books
not enough time.
i'm in a soccer mood
i earned it

maybe sunday there will be
church
and my purple Bible
which i carry to school.
people ask questions
and i
like answering

no chocolate for lent
i'm in a soccer mood
the ground is muddy
wet
but i'm in a soccer mood.

    I wish I could get tired of writing poetry. It's BURSTING out of me! Like an ALIEN.

    I like this a lot. It's simple. But good. I wanna kick something too. :/
