You don't know that I loved you from afar
and loved you with every breath that you took.
I sealed my lips, covered it like a book,
but to my soul you were a shinning star.
I watched you with him and felt my heart burn.
Was haunted at night with dreams of your kiss
romantic joys that I know I would miss.
Bereft with nothing, but these dreams to yearn.
Even though it's been a long time ago
sometimes I still feel those same winds flowing.
And they are never easy in their flow.
What I couldn't have is painful knowing.
How painfully I learn that pain ebbs slow.
Your vision in my mind is still glowing.
