Dear Grandma,
We all remember you today,
But that is nothing new,
We all thought of you yesterday,
And the days before that too,
All that’s left is memories,
And those few rare pictures,
We are gathered to remember,
And read the scriptures,
My grandma was beautiful,
I loved her very dear,
I could tell her anything,
Without any fear,
Everyone knew my grandma,
In their own special way,
She had touched everyone,
Is what I’m trying to say,
God is a lucky man,
And from what I’ve been told,
He has the master plan,
And it’s starting to unfold,
Dear God, in heaven above
Recently you’ve taken, someone we love,
Please hold onto my grandma tight,
She may need to wiggle,
She may put up a fight,
Please take good care of her,
Let her wait for me,
When it’s our turn,
We will finally see.
