It was raining red that day
when Love and Violence integrated
on the pillars of Olympus
overlooking the kingdom of brothers and sisters,
mothers and fathers,
an ancient outfield of power and play.

They swore secrecy to each other
as the clouds swirled around their entangled bodies,
her hair of lust and velvet fluttering in the wind,
his robust hands cradling her face with delicate embrace,
bliss sizzling in every pore.

A pair of ominous eyes pierced a hole through the fluff
embodying the cohesive duo,
eavesdropping with intentions of future treason,
the eyes did not see the fury in store for thee—

A subtle noise slithered into the ears of the lovers
interrupting their euphoric indulgences,
And Anger arose steaming with dismay;
the sneaky eyes no longer a part of Godly life
but a lesser animal screeching at every sunrise.
