Declination

What words speak to me that cause me to convulse so violently?
This body is full of shame and gray decisions
Never choosing left or right
Up or down
Black or white.

HYPOCRISY screams bloodshot eyes that don't deserve tears
EMPTINESS whispers a mind plagued by fear
And VANITY was carved into skin
By scarred hands that shouldn't reach for an antidote
Because this poison is from within.

This cancer-filled heart deserves its quarantine--
Duct-tape my mouth so I can't scream for help.

Tell me this is where I belong.

Wow...long time since I've read anything new from you, and you come back with a bang. Amazing imagery, and...quite sad. Melancholic indeed.
As always - well done! Can't wait for more of your work,
AP is becoming like some food group and I am a wordmuncher - always hungry.
