This entire piece has double meaning/interpretation.
The first meaning (Illegal Legal Procedure) is speaking to a female wanting an abortion.
The second meaning (Complete Incoherence) is speaking to a stupid guy who wants to run and not take responsibility for his child.

im taken aback by the way in which this poem is written. vey strategic and powerful imagery. abortion is something close tomy heart and although it brought me grief and unwanted memories, it still touched me and made me think... profound -

Very true and powerful, but with the first meaning, please know that there is another side to it. Many people wish with all their heart they could undo what they did, and some just are so pressured into it by the second meaning (the animal who won't take responsibility) and family, stressed and worried that they do it, but the moment it happens they realize it's a mistake. Sure, it's no excuse, but I've heard of a lot of people who live every day of their lives with the pain, who cry everyday for their child. I couldn't image anyone feeling that way, but I've come across some anti-abortion sites that are actually run by people who had abortions and so regret it, and heard lots of first hand stories, and I realized that there were two sides to it.
