In sweeping motifs,
one's life symphony
often recurs the themes
of starlight
and streetlight
in hideous
and glorious ways
in forms potent enough
I must comment on this,
the human condition:
how fickle indeed!
I liked the tune,
ah, but where was the harmony friend!
It lacked the vibrado!
[That's right.
You left it when you jumped off the alter,
forgeting you're a living sacrifice...
The priest, the conductor of the faith,
wants to finish you-
the work,
the masterpiece...]
