An angel waits

in the shadows

of your immortal

Hiding his perfection

behind emerald eyes

Unruly raven hair

shinning underneath his

HALO

 

Crimson eyes watch

as her soft pale skin

is exposed to the

harsh realities of

SUNLIGHT

 

And they fight

over the soul

of one

beautiful complexe

FAERIE

 

Who will win

in the fight

against good and

EVIL?

    Its beautiful, like reading a particularly grumpy fairy tale. I was hooked by the title. When I read the poem I felt like I was reading a painting...I could see the lighting and poses and I swear that after I read this I could literally see this as a painting against a white wall background
