I am putting together a new form of poem
A poem of flesh
You are my paper, your skin is my paper
My words are my lips pressed to your skin
Have us together and never pull us apart
Wanting to be one flesh
My arms connect to your arms
From our bodies flow strings
Many, many glowing strings
To connect us to
The world, to us
Every part of us has strings to tie us to things
And to my breasts there are strings
To you I ask: “where shall I sew them?”
Your heart is connected by a string
And with it I use it to sew my flesh poem
Have us together and never pull us apart
Wanting to be one flesh
I rest my head on your
Shoulder letting the
World sink in
Sink away
Let it run away
So my world is only filled
With you
The string that is connected
to your heart I sew my heart
To it, to remember its place
There is a string connected to my thigh
I sew it to your left hand
There is a string connected to your right hand
I sew it to my head so you can keep my head held high
There is a string connected to my eyes
I sew it to your face so I may always have a
Amazingly beautiful face to look upon
My arms connect to your arms
I sew my hand to your freedom
Where I can drink and gain inspiration repeatedly
The heat of your heart is burning flame to my love
I sew no words for you to speak
Just your moans
Your moans are
My pauses and stops
My words and sentences
Your moans are sweet on my tongue
Your moans pull deep in me
We know the taste of each other
And in the end
When we are sewn together
Stitched together
bonded
I do not sew my lips to anything
I keep them free
So I can repeat the flesh poem again
