He floods my senses with
'sanguine' and 'mindful incisions'
and other such metaphors
leaving my mouth gaping in awe,
for he's a masterful poet
and his talent knows no bounds.
No prompt, picture nor quote
can escape his unique and creative
verbal salute
and he's a true inspiration
with his constant encouragement.
But if that's not enough
he's such a treasured friend
who always has time to chat and advise.
His jokes and playful banter
always puts a smile on my face,
lightening what sometimes
has been a dreary day.
Sensual and loving
are subjects close to his heart
and his faith shines out
like a beacon in the dark.
But there's more!
His dry, poetic humour
is always bound to please
and many have discovered
how well his words tease.
And there have been many
crazy collab contests,
where he conjures up
the weirdest prompts,
that have made me wonder
how anyone could reply!
Yet if you think deeply
there's always a serious thought
penned deep within.
Yes I salute my Allpoetry brother and friend,
penman,
who has found a place here
in so many hearts.
I cherish your time,
your words, you amazing talent
and most of all,
your friendship!
