Tearing through the distant night
our love is not to be
what is it that will be our plight
what is it that we will see?
Come to me my adoring love
taking all the world beyond
fitting my life like a glove
my darling, my life it will correspond.
Will you love me now forever?
in this life of living hell
or will you love me never
and leave me to hide in my shell?
Come to me my forbidden one
rivers flow, as do my tears
will our love come undone?
will this be the last of my fears?
Shall we dance the dance of life
traveling the realm of death
where I was once your wife
I wait with bated breath.
In this life I wait no more
I will meet you in the beyond
laying here upon the floor
covered my trust, covered my bond.

This was splendid! I loved the rhyme and the way it flowed. I loved how the story unfolded. It was very breath taking.. Lovers we shall be.. Excellent work. OO One thing
"fitting my life lie a glove" Shouldn't that be "fitting my life LIKE a glove?" No points taken off of course, this poem is too great to worry about the grammar and spelling..
Thank you for entering. Kahy
