High School Blues

It's been a year now since I've missed you.
Days slowly evaporating, as the ghost of you follows me even into my dreams.
I wrap Bob Dylan's jacket around my face to block out the wind, but I still get frost bite.
I go to Dairy Queen because it reminds me of you.

We used to go to parties at David's house,
You'd get so drunk, You'd yell so loud,
You used to reach for my hand,
We'd kiss within our high school walls,
I'm becoming the person I swore I'd never be,
More like you everyday,
I've adapted your mannerisms, I hope that's okay.

Please tell me what you think?

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
