Another Day

A bird flies freely with the wind,
Catching each feather upon its wings,
Grasping the air,
As the breeze gently sweeps across its body,
It glides as if there is not a care in the world,
As free as the suns rays glisten & shine,
Gracefully upon everything it touches,
But as the sun begins to set,
& the sky changes from pink to orange,
The bird knows it’s time to go,
Hoping to see that sun again,
& to become free once more,
Without a care in the world,
As the bird turns away from the sun,
Its last gentle ray says:

        Another day
                Another day
                      To the bird
                            That glides gracefully away.
