Stressor

This is a poem to tell you what makes,
me spit with anger or silently shake.
I may find more, though it is true
I am not violent, but rather subdued.

I hate when people spread evil lies,
insulting my name every time I go by.
Or insulting my friends or family,
anyone close and important to me.

Calling me names that are far from truth,
honestly I'd never do that to you.
Even worse still are those who maltreat,
kids, lovers, parents or those in the street.

Still I hold myself stronger than stress,
I will not let others cause me great distress.
Though I get hurt sometimes, I know I
can get by, I'm better than those I dispise.

  • This poem has strong rhyme and great flow. The only thing is 'dispise' is spelt wrong i think (but i could be wrong)
