Witchcraft ; A Sin

"She floats! She floats!"
Yes, she did indeed
She was a Witch , spawn of the Devil
Her life; a betrayal to The Creed

No witch shall live
But live she did; an evil seed
Live, no more, that dreary night
They performed the cruelest deed

From the gallows, she was hung
For she had no blood to bleed
No redemption, no use in looking back
Her fate was set; no room to plead

Spawn of the Devil
Fruit of the most evil seed
Death is her punishment
Sins, we should all heed

Author notes

I do not personally think Witchcraft is a sin I just used the theory from one of my favorite books "Witch Child" in which Witchcraft is portrayed as a sin and having to do with the devil by the inhabitants of the town (the old days when America was beginning to be inhabited by the puritans...).

    Hmmm, I like the poem it painted a very... evil picture for me.

    All I wanted to say is, we are not evil and do not practice the work of the devil, we do not believe in a devil. The only people who practice Satanism are those who portray themselves as Christians. For to believe in a devil you must believe in the bible and to believe in the bible you must believe in the devil.

    The poem is amazing but what I take from it is that you know nothing of the Wicca religion.

    I practiced christianity for a number of years but could never practice such an evil religion for long, so I gave up.
