All alone left and used
forgotten by her owners
so many memories
that there is not one
that she shall choose.
For many shes has sit and stared watching
as the world around her grows
but yet she is untouched
left alone to sit in the dust
and her stories are untold.
Her glass eyes hold memories of
her past and of the children
that had played with her
whose love didnt last,
as they grew older and she was
thrown in a corner and no longer
should they stay they packed up
everything and moved away,
she was left
completely forgotten to sit alone
day after day.
A new couple moved in
and a little girls heart she did
win and out of the attic she was carried in.
She had felt new again and thought that
once again maybe this little girl would stay
until one night her mother and father
had a fight and the little girls soul
flew away.
She was left in the corner
as she watched her little girl get abused
all the stains of blood on the floor
and all the cries didnt even matter anymore.
Her little girl came and held her one night
and said I love you Sally,
you are my only friend
and that was the final night that her father would
walk in and the abuse would start again
but this was a battle the little girl would not win.
The dolls eyes open as many times before
had never seen something so horrific
and she watched as her little girl fall to the floor
the dolls tears stayed within her stuffed body
but silently she weeped and the little girl
reached over and grabbed her hand,
so cold and so weak.
She looked her doll in the eyes
and cried as she lay bleeding on the floor
im sorry sally girl but daddy doesnt want me
here anymore,
I love you Sally and you are
my best and only friend
I will miss you Sally
shhh be quiet here comes daddy again.
The doll watched as the father knelt
above the little girl and with one last glance
she stared her in the eyes and she knew
her little girls body couldnt take anymore.
She tried to close her eyes and she wanted to look away
then the little girls hand went limp and she
dropped her Sally's hand
and the doll knew
that like that she would
never be loved again.
After the childs passing
the mother and father were taken
away,
once again there sat the doll
once named Sally in the attic locked away
cursed by the memories locked behind her
beautiful glass eyes cursed to be alone
and watch as everyone leaves
and as for the child that loved her most
she will never forget the night her
Annabell died,
but no matter what she will always
be her Annabell's Sally cursed
dead but inside so alive...

Thank You for Your Entry ~
Incredibly haunting; this chilled me to the bone and made me wanna cry my heart out!
I admit for a moment I was a little "hmmmm" about the use of Sally because of Nightmare before Christmas but you used the name well and turned her into a deeper character
Best of Luck
♥
Stay safe

Wow
This is really good! Dark, deep, and sad, it kinda grabs you and takes you on a journey. I really like the way you wrote this piece. As far as you revising it goes, I'm not sure that there is a whole lot you could do to make it any better. It may be a tad bit wordy in some places, but if you changed that it might destroy some of the effect. This is really good!
