Recovering...

I fell back,
into the depths of despair,

but I feel better now,

'cause I know you still care.

I fell back,

and felt really bad,

because I needed you to remind me,

that you love me, and I'm glad.

I fell back,

and almost got swallowed,

got dragged deep down,

and darkness followed.

I fell back,

but I'm recovering from my fall,

'cause I know we'll be friends,

and we'll always have it all.

So I'm recovering now,

and now that I've come back from my dip in the dark,

I'm loving each day,

and living to the fullest, so that it leaves a mark.
