Often I give advice to one
as a friend who cares
and a counselor
of life and God's Wisdoms to share
sometimes solicited . . . or not
Without Expectation
I give it with no strings attached
for a puppeteer
controls the gift's use
that he manipulates with fear
I give only God's solutions
Without Expectation
I won't call to ask about it
advice is theirs now
to take as they please
to forget or use when and how
only then it's truly a gift

Wow I just wrote such a long comment and lost it. This again is an excellent poem of truth. I love your wise council of your own life experience accompanied with Gods Word and your knowledge of counciling. I know I have truly been blessed by your wonderful advise. Good poem. After receiving advice, we all must go within to ask for verification of what's best for us. God's Thoughts are within, covered up by the ego's twisted thoughts. God's thoughts are full of inclusive love for all and always bring peace of mind.
