Red.
Sighs that slip as an amorous mist from between cherry lips.
A fire that writhes beneath the skin,
a rising blush swept along every inch of flesh.
Hair fanned like the plumes of a scarlet dawn,
stretching as rays about your breasts.
And the rosy scent, held at your neck,
sweet and ever divine.
Red.
An ardor that courses like blood from you into me.
And my body drinks.
The lungs fill.
The heart beats.
Red.
A desire on which my soul feasts.
It is the shade of my devotion.
It is the color of my love.
It is you, in everything.
Red.

You destroyed my own poem with the same poem title! Utterly destroyed it. I love it, biologically an awesome.
Favourite poem by far. -
it evolved enough to impress me. lol.

I wonder the power of that one word 'red' . It pulled you enough to end somewhere needed. Great write. I loved it. Thanks for sharing.
