Tim the Homeless man

Tim the homeless man
Lived below the overpast
in a not so far off away land
He lives in Houston texas
With 4 other grown men

Tim is a jack off all trades
But masters no real skill
Tim is at the bottom
Of this Economy based hell

He wakes up each morning
With a glimer of hope in his eyes
See Tim never imagined his life this way
And well, neither did I.

Like me he wants a family
A home and well paying job
But in this time of economic down fall
Theres nothing in the industry

The people who share this home with Tim
Scrounge for money each and every way
See Tim is just like you and I
We are people who struggle through the days

Im blessed to live the life I live
To wake up in a warm bed each morning
But Tim and his fellow men
lay fridged in the night

God Bless you Tim
And all the homeless men and women
For you have more hope
Than even I
Some day you will see a light
At the end of this long, lonely night

Author notes

This is based on a true story. The only people that can help us are ourselves. Please PLEASE help Tim and any other person that lives on the street. Start showing compassion America. They are not just "lazy" nitwits that don't want to get a job. They cant. They need our help. If we can't even help our own, no one else can trust us to help them. I know these Economic times are extremely rough for most of us, but a small controbution is all these people need. Next time you walk down the street. Instead of spending 3.99 on a Redbull and another 6.50 on a pack of cigerattes. Give someone $10 dollars to buy some food. I can't stress this enough, "We cannot help ourselves before we help someone else" Quote by Jackilyn Bell.

Do your part America. Show the people of our country that we DO care about them!
