for the last time,
you selfish, brutal wretch!
I will finish you off this time!
Squash you like a cockroach!

Be patient...

What need have I for 'faith'?
I have waited far too long,
I have been more patient
than patience itself!
No! This is her end!
'You are being non-sensical.
Give faith time --'
Time?
What? Shall I wait eternity
for your precious faith
to come to my rescue?
No! It's over!
'Time will heal.
Calm down...
And brace yourself --"
Brace myself?!
Shut up!
SHUT THE FUCK UP!
'You are emotional,
furious and hot-tempered,
I understand that.
It is natural,
you would be cold and unfeeling
if you weren't;
you're human.
But you must calm down,
you must have faith,
have faith that this will end,
and end well for you...'
I am sick and tired of your constant nagging..
Where is this faith? huh!
I neither have the time,
the patience, the energy
or your faith!
I will take matters into my own hands!

Now because I do not have the luxury of making special parts in italics or in a different part, I have used these '...' to indicate that the conscience is speaking..
And seeing as I am doing wrath.. I suppose I can curse a bit.. though I tried not to over do it 
' --' means cut short..

You know to begin with this kinda reminded me of a conversation with a priest. But then I suppose the good in us would sound like that if it could speak. I really enjoyed this, neat take on the prompt. Thanks for entering and good luck in the final round!

wonderful work here! I enjoyed this piece very much so, I must admit, I was a bit confused on the' ' for awhile, I thought it was one person talking to another. But when I read your authors notes it became clear. Wonderful work here!
