never a place to fill,
she falls,
at first a small stumble,
as she clinches her arms
so tightly,
then a huge leap
as she misses her target
and falls to anonymity
she lies,
betrayed by all she tried to believe,
reconciling her situation
to her emotions
and falling further behind
she simply is,
reaching but not finding,
she is
our lonely girl
alone in this world

nice take on the song, I asked for under 50 words and I'm pretty sure this is over. the first stanza is great though, it has some nice imagery.

I have been betrayed so many times by the people I loved.
It's very hard to go through.
