i could never have imagined
even in my wildest dreams
that i would find a girl like you...

a girl so sweet
so gentle
so loving
so amazing in every way

i don't know how a guy like me could possibly be worthy of somebody like you...
but i thank God every day that you are in my life

you give me hope when my days are dark
you give me a smile when i'm filled with sorrow
you make everything seem better...

i pray that i can do the same for you



though i don't have much to give
i want to give you everything that i am
and everything that i ever will be

i want to share dreams that will never die
i want to be kids together 'till we're old
i want to hold you and never let go

i want to love you forever



time and space hold no power over our love
galaxies upon galaxies cannot contain it
and every day it grows

every night through starry skies
our hearts  meet in the moonlight of living dreams
feeding the fire that burns within



and in the end
i need no rhyme or meter
or flowery language
to whisper what my heart is screaming

in the end

    Whoever this was written for is a lucky girl, it's so so sweet!!!
    I smiled at the end.
    And you also have a way with words, I loved this bit:
    "i want to give you everything that i am
    and everything that i ever will be"
    And also "to whisper what my heart is screaming"
    That is so powerful.

    wow... this is one of the most beautiful love poems i ever read. it read so smoothly and each word in perfect place. i loved the part about being kids even when old...
    the title is great, too...especially how you come to the end... and use it like you do.

    just... wow. great write. one of my favs by you.
