*The Loner*

She taps her cigarette
dropping ash-like shame.
Her fears of what she could be
sadly, are what she became

Watching the kids from school,
at lunch time, as they give her judgemental glances.
Watching the world go by...
she gives herself no chances

She is the biggest loner and
I think everyone now knows,
She doesn't care, she likes being alone
she ditches class, not sure where to go

She is so numb, her eyes seem so cold
no one dares approach her,
she need not a person to hold

The dark pools of grey, that are her eyes
Mirror and reflect a world deaf to her cries

  • wow, this was an amazing write, just really great. I liked it. It seemed somewhat sad in a way, to always be alone and never know were to go. But if it works, go with it right? Again, I realy liked it, it had some good imagery. Keep the pen flowing and I hope all is well
